All workout logs are built around a basic layout of Exercise, Sets, Reps and Rest. Company name's fitness center is a master in preparing workout programs suitable for individual needs.
If you want to improve your fitness, then workouts - either in the home, in the great outdoors, or by using personal trainers - will be beneficial. Whether you’re training for sports or training purely for fitness, the workouts and fitness programs we feature have been tested and can help you achieve positive results for your fitness goals.
There are no single-joint exercises in our Training program because virtually every body movement involves more than one joint. Our workouts are either split into a full-body sequence or a push-pull sequence, depending on the number of days you intend to train and how much time you have available per session. In addition, you will notice that for most movements, you will be assigned a bilateral exercise one day and a unilateral exercise for your next workout.
Whether you’re new to fitness or a frequent exerciser, we have a fitness program or workout that fits your needs. Our experts have created a number of effective options to help you train like a track star, workout with a partner, get in a quick 30-minute routine on your lunch break, or get back into shape with a 12-week kick start.
Of course, you will always want to consult with your own personal doctor before starting any exercise program.
Circuit Training
Our fitness center’s circuit training is a great boredom buster. It offers more cardio benefits, and it will help you burn an average of 30 percent more calories. Sculpt every muscle and blast fat with this step-by-step workout.
A circuit is a series of strength or cardio exercises (or both) repeated two or three times, with little or no rest between sets. You'll need a watch with a second hand, the cardio equipment of your choice, plus a set of 3- to 5-pound dumbbells.
Why We Love Circuit Training
* It’s not boring. Moving quickly from one exercise to the next means your mind doesn't have time to wander or tune out.
* An all-strength circuit burns 30 percent more calories (about nine per minute!) than a typical weight workout, and offers more cardio benefits.
* A circuit that combines cardio and strength moves will blast fat and sculpt muscle. It can also burn up to 10 calories a minute.
Conventional circuit training workouts combine various exercise stations to help you develop both strength and stamina. Circuit training is popular amongst fitness enthusiasts for its challenging nature, and individuals short on time find it can be a great way to develop a good all-round level of fitness in minimal time.
The right workout for your goals:
Goal 1: Melt fat, and build firm muscles
Goal 2: Sculpt all over
Goal 3: Bust boredom, blast calories
Running
If you want to torch calories and tone your body, running is one of the most effective forms of exercise. The problem is, it leaves your upper body and core high and dry, and if you forget to stretch, you're left with tight, tense muscles that could result in an injury that keeps you from lacing up your sneaks.
We came up with a 60-minute running workout that includes one-minute strength-training intervals, as well as a short stretching session at the end.
