This was my first time receiving a broken piece—a support figure for a special mask—and I was distraught looking for a repair shop. It\'s hard to describe my relief and excitement when I found Smart Choice Repair Center. Finding a resin repair place of this quality is remarkable. The before and after photos of their work samples speak highly of their skill, their reviews praised them, and after my experience, they definitely proved their reputation to me!\n\nThey were very encouraging and comforting to someone upset over a broken figure! Their representative was very responsive when I called, knew exactly what he was talking about, and assured me they had done many jobs repairing resin figures and similar works. He answered every question I had and allayed my concerns over getting the work done. I sent them images of my figure\'s damage and they gave me an estimated initial cost of the job and time it would take. We set up an appointment to meet, discuss the repairs, and drop off my figure. The entire process was no hassle at all and very heartening. I felt even better about my decision after getting off the phone.\n\nThis place is professional! After I brought the figure, the rep set it on a display mat, reviewed the broken pieces and fit them together to make sure it was in the proper place, asked me questions about the figure\'s original state, and even checked the website of the figure’s production company to get references. This wasn’t a simple job. The figure was broken in five places, there were pieces missing, scrapes around the broken parts, and the metal rod inside the sculpture to support the mask that hung on the piece was bent out of shape. All things the representative picked up on.\n\nBut despite that, he was confident they could fix it. They used the same material the rest of the statue was made from to recreate the missing pieces, fuse the broken parts back together, and strengthen the piece to its original sturdiness. They also said they would either repair or replace the metal support bar inside depending on the damage. And they hand painted the figure to match the original paint job to cover up the repairs, including the bark-like texture the rest of the figure came with! Smart Choice Repair Center takes their work very seriously and they did all of it with pride and skill.\n\nThey estimated the repair would take between 4 to 6 weeks—it was a complex job and they had quite the busy schedule to tackle before mine—but for the quality of their work, it was well worth it. I picked up the completed piece at the end of the 6th week. It looked stunning! Every piece was back in place, secured and strong. They’d patched the holes, filled the cracks, melded the seams, painted the repaired areas with the matching color and texture, and fixed the metal rod inside! I brought the mask with me and the piece held it without a problem.\n\nI was so happy, I ran out of words a few times. It was amazing repair work and utterly remarkable they were able to fix it, considering the shape it had been in! As for the cost, no, it wasn\'t cheap, but worth it for this quality, professional work; definitely far less costly than trying to buy another figure. I’m happy to say my figure is standing right beside me, holding my precious mask without a single problem, and looking as amazing as my other figures! It brings me joy every time I see it.
